Elliot, my son, also known as Elmo in some circles, has just come in from Calgary which makes me very happy! And since it is cherry season, he has requested one of his favourites, Cherry cheese pie. I think this is a kind of retro pie as you really don't see it around often. You may see cherry pie or cherry cheese cake but not really cherry cheese pie...
